Discovery Nature is a member of a well organized local Tour Operators Network (LTON), which is a result of a National Plan in order to expand the tourism Industry in Guatemala.

 

This scheme was proposed and support by the National Tourist Institute (INGUAT), and by now about 8 LTON´s are active around all over the country, each one developing it´s own strategy to support, promote and advertise their main attractions. As a local Network we are committed with the preservation of the environment, to work together with communities as well as be an active member of the local an sustainable economic strategy.

 

Discovery Nature has participated in many international tourism fairs since 2002, trying to promote Guatemala as a whole, and specialy the north highlands and its splendorous nature, crystal emerald rivers and lagoons, fresh waterfalls, amaizing caves, rich and ancient culture, mayan and colonial constructions, spaicy and flavored gastronomy and our frendly people.
